...I wanted to let you know that the year has started off very smoothly, thanks to Make Your Day and our discussions about common area expectations. We can already see a tremendous difference in the behavior and attitude of our students, and in the amount of curriculum that teachers can cover.

I'm a teacher...in Phoenix and absolutely love the Make Your Day program. It has made it possible to teach again!

The program is working well. The halls are the best we can remember, with this many students. Teachers are talking the "same language" when discussing problems with logistics.

I'm one of the teachers from Voyager Middle School who was part of your training. I would like to thank you for taking time to teach us this positive program, "Make Your Day." We saw immediate results in our classrooms and halls with the inception of this great citizenship program. With some exceptions, which you correctly predicted, the students and staff wholeheartedly embraced "Make Your Day." It feels as though those kids who want to be here finally have a voice, and we are ready to listen to THEM.

We are very pleased with the kinds of behaviors we see from our kids in all areas of the school and with their increased accountability for themselves. The young man who runs the YMCA before and after school program on our campus is raving about how well the kids are doing for him, and how they are taking responsibility for their behavior choices.

I just love the Make Your Day program! I'm at Wasilla Middle School and I am astounded at the difference between WMS and the middle school I taught at in another area. There is no antagonism between teachers and students at WMS. The kids are polite and thoughtful. I could go on and on.

There is more respect in our school for others.  It is easily implemented (on the whole) and makes classroom management easier, if used correctly.

Overall positive for student learning.

More time for instruction.  Discipline issues handled easily and quickly.

Great student buy-in.  As a specialist, I have much less difficulty getting all students to comply.  Increased respect for all adults in (the) building.

Positive, makes students responsible for (their) own behavior, less time wasted for those who want to learn.

My kids are terrific in the hall.

It has refocused my vision for my classroom, and that learning can not be interrupted.

If I follow the program to the letter it works extremely well.  I believe recess for everyone really is helping my students' social skills, mental health and physical health.  I love this program and believe it to be near perfect for our students.  The parents have been supportive whenever in a Step 4 conference and the students are brutally honest.

Predictable - routine for handling behavior issues. (for myself and students)

I want to thank you for developing the MYD program and sharing it with our school.  I have never seen anything more effective than this.  It is nothing short of remarkable.  It takes more work and organization on my part but the benefits to the kids (as well as myself) is more than I could expect.  I have to admit I was one of the skeptical ones, but now I am sold.

I am a first-year teacher who has that inevitable first day in three weeks!  I completed my student teaching at a "Make Your Day" school and really liked the way your system worked.  It is amazing how your program enables the youngest of students (to) understand the elements of citizenship and behave responsibly.
